§ 18-2. State laws and city ordinances adopted.

Pursuant to O.C.G.A. § 31-3-1 et seq., in addition to the rules and regulations of the DCH mentioned in section 18-1, the following rules and regulations have been enacted by the county board of health, and are hereby adopted and incorporated by reference as if fully set forth in this section by the city in accordance with state law, and are further approved for enforcement:

(1)

Rules and regulations concerning body art and tattooing, enacted by the resolution dated August 9, 2001, which are hereby set forth verbatim in this section and adopted by the city council upon lawful adoption of the ordinance from which this chapter is derived.

(2)

Rules and regulations concerning rabies control, enacted by the resolution dated November 12, 2009, which are hereby set forth verbatim in this section and adopted by the city council upon lawful adoption of the ordinance from which this chapter is derived.

Copies of those rules and regulations enacted by the county board of health and having been adopted by city council ordinance are on file in the city council clerk's office, where the same are available for inspection and copying by the public during regular city operating hours.
