§ 18-33. Prosecution for violations.

(a)

Violations of all state DCH promulgated rules and regulations and all local board of health enactments identified and adopted in this chapter may be prosecuted by an accusation or citation with or without a prosecuting attorney in accordance with O.C.G.A. § 15-10-63, and any successor statute.

(b)

The city council authorizes the city attorney or his designee to prosecute violations of this chapter, pursuant to O.C.G.A. § 15-10-66, and any successor statute.

(c)

The county solicitor and his assistants shall also have the authority to prosecute all citations or accusations issued for violation of the rules and regulations identified and adopted in this chapter.
