§ 28-29. Maintenance; damage; replacement costs.

(a)

The Poly Kart will be furnished to all residents at no charge, and will be maintained by the city unless damaged by improper use or negligence. When the Poly Kart no longer functions properly due to normal wear and use, the city will replace it at no charge.

(b)

Any cost of Poly Kart repair or replacement not caused by normal and proper usage, including being lost or stolen, will be charged to the responsible resident on such resident's utility bill. The cost may be prorated over a period of time upon request of the resident if it exceeds $10.00, but in no circumstance will such period exceed 12 months.
