§ 2-1. Open records.

(a)

All municipal records, except those that by order of a state court or by law are prohibited from being open to public inspection, shall be open for personal inspection by any citizen of the state during the hours of operation of the administrative service prescribed in this chapter.

(b)

Notwithstanding this section or any other provision of this Code, the city shall not be required to make available for public inspection or copying any document or portion of a document that is not otherwise subject to inspection or copying under the Georgia Open Records Act, O.C.G.A. § 50-18-72 et seq.
