§ 30-49. Plan to be submitted.

  • Before any street or road is opened or extended by private authority, or before any new street, road or alley is laid out in any subdivision for residential, business or industrial uses, and before the city council shall consider acceptance of any new street, road or alley, the person proposing to open or extend the street, road or alley shall submit a detailed plan of the same with such pertinent information or data as may be required by the planning commission to the commission. The commission shall carefully examine the plan with regard to its nature and the purpose, width, character and location of the street, road or alley.
