§ 10-405. Permit fees.

  • (a)

    Every person who owns, controls, manages, or operates a billiard room in the corporate limits of the city shall pay for, and there is hereby levied on, each such billiard room, a permit fee per billiard table in an amount as established from time to time by city council resolution and shown in the city's fee schedule (but tables which constitute coin operated amusement machines shall not be counted for purposes of this section). The fee for issuing a replacement permit for a lost, destroyed or mutilated permit is as established from time to time by city council resolution and shown in the city's fee schedule.

    (b)

    Fees for permits granted in the second half of the licensing year shall be reduced by one-half from the fee required by subsection (a) of this section. No other proration or reduction shall be allowed, regardless of the date on which such permit is applied for.
