§ 14-19. Definitions.

  • As used in this article, the term "land disturbing activity" means any activity that may result in soil erosion from water or wind and the movement of sediments into any body of water with the state or onto lands within the state including, but not limited to, clearing, dredging, grading, excavation, transporting and filling of land. The term "land disturbing activity" does not include agricultural practices described in O.C.G.A. § 12-7-17.
