§ 2-121. Established; composition.

An administrative committee called the "Street Tree Committee" is hereby established. The committee shall consist of nine members. Three of the members shall be nominated by the city, three members shall be nominated by the Hartwell Garden Club Council, and three members shall be nominated by the Hartwell/Hart Clean and Beautiful Board. The Hartwell/Hart Clean and Beautiful Board shall always choose as one of its nominees the Hart County Extension Service County Agent. All nominees except the Hart County Extension Service County Agent are subject to the city council's approval. The street tree committee shall elect a chairperson and any other officers it may desire to create.
