§ 34-66. Off-system speed limits established.

  • The following speed zones are hereby established for the following streets and roads and portions of streets and roads within the corporate city limits, all of which are not part of the state highway system:

    (1)

    Twenty-five miles per hour.

    (a)

    Alford Road. From Benson Street to South Forest Avenue, a distance of 00.27 miles.

    (b)

    Campbell Drive (school zone). On days that public schools in Hart County, Georgia, are in session: From East Franklin Street to Second Street, a distance of 00.43 miles.

    (c)

    Campbell Drive. From Second Street to Benson Street (Georgia Highway 77), a distance of 00.07 miles.

    (d)

    Cleveland Avenue (school zone). On days that public schools in Hart County, Georgia, are in session: From Benson Street (Georgia Highway 77) to East Howell Street, a distance of 00.29 miles.

    (e)

    Cleveland Avenue. From East Howell Street to Franklin Street (Georgia Highway 8), a distance of 00.12 miles.

    (f)

    College Avenue (school zone). On days that public schools in Hart County, Georgia, are in session: From East Howell Street to Benson Street (Georgia Highway 77), a distance of 00.19 miles.

    (g)

    East Johnson. From Maple Street to Chandler Street, a distance of 00.66 miles.

    (h)

    Fairview Avenue (school zone). On days that public schools in Hart County, Georgia, are in session: From Franklin Street (Georgia Highway 8) to Fifth Street, a distance of 00.47 miles.

    (i)

    Fairview Avenue. From Fifth Street to Benson Street (Georgia Highway 77), a distance of 00.48 miles.

    (j)

    Fifth Street (school zone). On days that public schools in Hart County, Georgia, are in session: From Fairview Avenue to Campbell Drive, a distance of 00.36 miles.

    South Forest Avenue. From Benson Street to Georgia Highway 172, a distance of 00.93 miles.
